by Rae, 9 months agoI like this add on, has kept me from abandoning pinterest altogether. The only thing that's holding me back from a higher rating is the inability to hide the UI of the extension. The top left corner layover makes it impossible to see or click the top buttons of the website. Similarly, the control panel needs to be hidden. I'd prefer to not see it at all, so setting up in a new tab or a one time popup would be ideal. The way it is now, the pins on the far right are blocked significantly and it doesn't look nice. Other than these visual tweaks I think would make this a five star app, it seems to function very well and catches a decent amount of AI.

posted an hour agoHi Rae, thank you so much for the review and for sticking with the extension! I'm glad it's catching a good amount of AI for you. You make a great point about the UI getting in the way of the top buttons and the pins on the right. The good news is that I've completely redesigned this in the upcoming version so the UI will stay hidden and won't block your view anymore. I hope the new update earns that 5-star rating once it drops!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Drasyn, 3 months agoIt does well its job and I won't browse Pinterest again without it, but the extension has 2 big flaws, easily fixable:
-Why is the AI filter "OFF" by default? I need to activate it manually each time I open Pinterest.
-It has 2 windows on top of the website, one on the left and one on the right, blocking the view of the website. I don't need to see these 2 windows while I'm browsing Pinterest.Developer response
posted an hour agoHi Drasyn, thank you for the 4-star review and for pointing out these flaws! I completely understand how the manual activation and the extra UI windows can be frustrating. The good news is that I have fixed both of these issues in the next update. The filter will soon default to ON, and the windows won't block your view anymore. Keep an eye out for the new version, and thanks again for using the extension! - Rated 5 out of 5by Cesardelacal, 4 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Devi, 6 months agoit's no perfect but yall im just so glad this extension exists. it will not magically remove all ai from the internet for you, but it does remove all pins that pintrest has marked as ai and it does that job well! this extension essentially prevents you from wasting time checking every pin to see if its marked ai or from accidentally saving an ai-marked pin because you didn't check it first. its exactly what i needed, thank you for making it!!

posted an hour agoHi Devi, thank you so much for the kind words and the 5-star review! I'm thrilled to hear the extension is doing exactly what you need and saving you time. Thanks for your support! - Rated 5 out of 5by Josh, 7 months agoI've been hoping for an extension like this forever, thank you so much!
Works great however the three extension elements do cover a lot of content, it would be better if they were all either under the extension window or in a collapsible element.Developer response
posted an hour agoHi Josh, thank you so much for the 5-star review! I completely agree that the extension elements were taking up too much space. The good news is that I've fixed this exact issue in the upcoming version—they will no longer cover your content. Thanks for your support and patience! - Rated 1 out of 5by Jekku, 7 months agoI don't know what this extension is supposed to do, but it's not doing it. It does NOT block AI images, in fact, here’s what I get on Pinterest. A UI popup window that says:
AI Filter: OFF <--WHY is it OFF?
Mode: Extension
API: browser
Speed: medium
Hidden: 0
WHY am I getting this popup, and WHY does it say the AI Filter is OFF when it clearly shows that it's ON? I do NOT get a view like the "after" above. What's wrong with this extension?Developer response
posted an hour agoHi Jekku, I completely understand your frustration and I'm sorry for the confusion! You are totally right—the extension currently defaults to 'OFF', which is why it wasn't blocking the images for you, and that UI popup is definitely getting in the way. The good news is that I have completely fixed both of these issues in the next update. The filter will soon default to ON automatically, and those UI popups have been removed. I hope you'll give the new version a try once it's out! - Rated 2 out of 5by JasperTheGob, 8 months agoA somewhat useful extension with a horribly annoying UI and flaws. A UI window showing number of AIs blocked also blocks out part of the search bar and home button. If an AI image is blocked then I simply wouldn't see it on my feed, a statistics window is not necessary.

posted an hour agoHi Jasper, thank you for the feedback and for using the extension! You're totally right that the statistics window was getting in the way and blocking the search bar, and I agree it isn't necessary to see all the time. The good news is that I've removed this intrusive UI in the upcoming version so it won't block your view anymore. Keep an eye out for the update! - Rated 2 out of 5by LordKing, a year agoOne point I'm not sure is directly related to the extension is the fact that too much AI-images are not "flagged" correctly as AI, so this extension misses them completely. I estimates that only 1/8 images IA image I have are spotted due to their wrong labelling.
two other points are well related to the extension: the extension needs a manual start and put 2 icons on the screen of pinterest, both hiding some useful element (one hides the start of the search bar on pinterest, the other hides a big part of the last image on the first row of display).
I hope it will be corrected.Developer response

You’re absolutely right , many AI-generated images online aren’t properly labeled, which can make accurate detection difficult. Our extension currently relies on available metadata and visible markers, but we’re already exploring advanced detection methods to improve AI-image recognition even when labeling is missing.
Regarding the manual start and overlapping icons . we truly appreciate you pointing this out. Our team is working on an update to streamline activation and adjust icon placement so it won’t cover any part of Pinterest’s interface.
Your input helps us make the extension better for everyone .thank you again for taking the time to share it! 🙏 - Rated 1 out of 5by Jaye, a year ago
